Recovery Statuses
Below is a list of all recovery item statuses in our system. Note that the Status Type column indicates the item's current state in the recovery process:
Active means the item is currently in representment.
Inactive indicates the item was either not eligible for representment or all attempts have failed.
Recovered means the item has successfully cleared.
Name | Status Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Admin | Active | Item is waiting for admin return corrections. |
Exception | Inactive | Account is on the Exception Account list. Nothing happens to the item when it is on the Exception Account list. |
In Representment | Active | Item has been sent for representment. |
Merchant Decision | Active | Item is waiting for the Merchant to make a decision on it. This is currently not being used. |
New | Active | This is a temporary status. All items start off at “New” before transitioning. |
No Fee | Inactive | There is no fee entered. |
Not Recovered | Inactive | The item was either: 1) not eligible for representment; 2) it failed all available attempts; or 3) item was marked as do not represent. |
Paid | Recovered | The item successfully cleared. |
Pending Face | Active | The fee is currently waiting on the face to clear. In this scenario, the fee will not be sent unless the face clears. |
Resolved | Inactive | The item was resolved (i.e. the Resolve Item action was done). |
Returned | Active | This is a temporary status. If the item returns after representing, it will show in this status before transitioning to the next one. |
Scheduled | Active | The item is currently scheduled for representment. |
