How-to: Do Not Represent (Merchant Portal)

The "Do Not Represent" action allows you to flag a recovery item to prevent any additional recovery attempts. Once a recovery item has been sent, it cannot be stopped. However, by marking it as "Do Not Represent," you ensure that no further recovery actions will be taken if the item is returned again.

Procedure

  • Log in

  • Access the Recovery Section

    • Navigate to the Main Menu and select Recovery.

  • Navigate to Recovery Items

    • Click the Recovery Items option.

  • Locate the Recovery Item

    • Locate the recovery item you wish to mark as do not represent in the grid.

  • Do Not Represent

    • Click the Actions button next to the recovery item and choose the Do Not Represent option.

    • Alternatively, you can choose the View option instead and then mark it as Do Not Represent from the View page.

  • Confirm Action

    • Click Yes to confirm the action.
